Lafarge Africa Closed Period Begins April 30, AGM June 3

Lafarge Africa Plc has announced that its closed period would begin Thursday 30 April while its general meeting holds Wednesday, June 3.
The company which has proposed a dividend of N1 (One Naira) per ordinary share in issue payable from the pioneer profits would pay its shareholders whose names appear in the Register of Members as at close of business on Thursday, 30th of April 2020.
Lafarge noted that the final dividend, if approved, by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting will be paid on Wednesday, 3rd of June 2020 while the Shareholders’ register will close Monday, May 4 to Friday, May 8, 2020, for the purpose of the final proposed dividend.
The company noted that the final proposed dividend if approved, would be paid on Wednesday, 3rd of June 2020 to all shareholders whose names appear on the Register of Members at the close of business on Thursday, April 30th, 2020.
Lafarge, however, advised the Shareholders who are yet to complete the e-dividend registration to download, complete and submit to the Registrar or their respective Banks the Registrar’s E-dividend Mandate Activation Form which is available on the website of the Registrars: www.cardinalstoneregistrars.
Adding that, “Shareholders with dividend warrants and share certificates that have remained unclaimed or are yet to be presented for payment or returned for validation are advised to complete the e-dividend registration or contact the Registrar”.
