Emmanuel Ogidi, Chairman, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) South-South, has reacted to the defection of former Governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan from the Peoples Democratic Party to the ruling All Progressives Congress.

The former governor of Delta State, Emmanuel Uduaghan, on Tuesday said he defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC), because of the massive development being witnessed in the Niger Delta region under the APC-led Federal Government.

But speaking on the defection, Ogidi told NAN that it was of no consequence to the PDP.

He described the move as a quest for relevance.

According to him, “Members of the PDP had already deserted Uduaghan for a while for lack of performance.

“His move is a quest for relevance.”
