Kola Jamodu Retires From UBA Board

The United Bank for Africa (UBA) on Tuesday announced the retirement of Chief Kola Jinadu from its board after 12 years of meritorious service.

The bank in a statement signed by it’s group company secretary, Bili A. Odum said that Jamodu’s retirement was on expiration of his tenure of three terms of four years each as a non-executive Director.

“In accordance with the Nigerian Stock Exchange (“NSE”) Rulebook, we hereby notify the NSE of the retirement of Chief Kola Jamodu, CFR, a Non-Executive Director from the Board of United Bank for Africa Plc, with effect from January 28, 2019, following the expiration of his tenure.

 Jamodu, joined the UBA Group in January 2007 and served on the Board of the Bank for twelve (12) years, successfully completing three (3) terms of four (4) years each.

 Jamodu, also served as the Chairman of the Board Risk Management Committee”, according to the bank which was full of appreciation for his contributions.

During his last tenure in office, the stock of the leading commercial lender moves from N4.48 and N10.84.
