Jegede Arrives Polling Unit
The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Eyitayo Jegede, has arrived his Polling Unit 5, Ward 2, Gbogi/Isinkan 1 at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church Primary School to cast his ballot for the Ondo State Governorship election holding on Saturday.
Jegede arrived the polling unit with his wife, Eno, at about 9:31am.
This was confirmed in a post on the PDP platform.
It reads: “OndoDecides2020-The governorship candidate of the @OfficialPDPNig, @TayoJegedeSAN, is already at his polling unit with his wife to cast his vote. People of Ondo state, #DefendYourVote.”
The PDP candidate wore a white native attire, a pair of white sandals, white face mask and a black cap to match.
His wife also wore white native attire, green and white face mask and a black bag to match.
It was learnt that it rained around the area, making the PDP governorship candidate to wait for the rain to subside before casting his ballot.
Jegede later cast his vote about 10am after being accredited.
